Our standard shipping service uses HK registered mail or DHL eCommerce Global Package depending on destination, weight, and value. If you need faster shipping we also offer DHL express shipping.

We aim to dispatch all items on the next business day. Once dispatched, you will receive confirmation via email.

Customers are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, brokerage charges, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods! DHL express and DHL Packet Plus may charge for these fees upon delivery. There is no way for MakerSpot (the shipper) to predict your country's customs/fee habits, so be prepared to pay full VAT on the fully declared value of your order as well as any customs fees your countries DHL and/or postal system may charge you! There are some services that can estimate the duty/taxes, while they're not 100% accurate they can be helpful (Duty/Tax Calculator). Keep a printout of your email receipt as you may have to send a copy to your customs office or for DHL. If you do not pay the required brokerage fees, VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc - we cannot issue any refunds.

Our shipping system is completely automated, and we cannot falsify customs forms. The customs forms will accurately describe the contents and cost of your order. We cannot mark orders as "gift", "sample", "educational" or lower the values on the shipment package. MakerSpot makes best efforts to follow all rules, regulations and laws for export compliance.



When will my order ship?

After an order is placed, it can take 1-2 business days to leave our warehouse. Business days are currently defined as Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays of the Hong Kong SAR. Please keep in mind; orders placed after 11pm PST or on a weekend will begin processing the following business day.

Yes! We support makers all over the world.

Does MakerSpot ship to Military APO's or PO Boxes?

Yes, but delivery to these destinations is not guaranteed, so whenever possible, please provide a physical address on all orders.

How can I track my order?

After your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an email notifying you of your tracking number. For more information, simply log into your account and click the Order tab.

If you placed your order using a Guest account, you will not be able to view this information.

Please Note: sometimes weather conditions delay shipments, including expedited shipping methods.  We are not responsible for late deliveries due to weather and natural disasters.



You may exchange or return merchandise purchased on for a full refund, less original shipping charges, based on original form of payment, within 30 days from the purchase date. If the product is unopened, it can be exchanged at any time.  You are responsible for the shipping charges incurred both on your original order as well as the charges to get the product back to us.  If your item has been opened or used, restrictions and/or handling fee may apply.

 If you believe you have received a defective product upon arrival, please contact us immediately via email for further instruction.
